Captain Ralph Frazier - Professional Galveston Fishing Guide

Capt. Ralph Frazier is a native Houstonian now residing in Galveston County to be closer to his work. A professional guide since 1973, he was originally a freshwater bass guide and tournament fisherman. He moved into the saltwater arena over 30 years ago and has never looked back. Frazier's Guide Service is the largest guide service in the Galveston area (providing up to 20 guides/boats daily) and provides exclusive service for Clear Lake Charter Boats at South Shore Harbor, Nassau Bay Hilton and Moody Gardens Resorts serving customers up to and including the international level.

Capt. Frazier strives to educate his clients about the species available and the methods and equipment used to catch them. These educational tactics extend to his various seminars. Since 1984, Ralph has represented his sponsors well in seminars at the likes of the Houston International Boat, Sport and Travel Show; Fishing Shows, LTD.; Learn from the Pros Series; Sport Fishing Magazine's Learn from the Experts; George Povaromo Saltwater Fishing Seminar and Corporate Fishing Clubs. Represented sponsors include Mercury Outboards, LMC Boats, American Rodsmith, B&L Baits, Shimano, MirroLure, Lowrance, Penn, Suffix, Bass Assassin and Mustad.

Through the years, he has accumulated numerous awards for himself and his customers such as several CCA tournament conservation awards, top 3 finishes in the Guides' Cup (only 4 finishes out of the top 10 since it started), American General Contractors (including 3 - 1st place finishes, 4 - 2nd place finishes including 2nd in 2001, 3rd in 2002 and 4th in 2003), 2nd in Baywatch, 3rd in Tackle Time and 3rd in IMS tournaments. 1999 brought the Southern Kingfish Association tournaments to Texas and Ralph welcomed them in style finishing 6th, 4th and 2nd respectively in the three tournaments making up Division 8. These finishes qualified him for National competition as he also finished 2nd in the division.  National competition brought a finish of 32nd in a field of 200 entries. He also finished 13th with an ESPN camera crew on board Galveston 2002 and he has never finished out of the money in Galveston. In 2003 Ralph joined the Gulfcoast Troutmasters tournament series and finished 2nd in Matagorda, 6th in Galveston and 1st in Rockport. There were ESPN television shows done with Ralph in Matagorda & Rockport.
